We are thrilled to announce that our team has won $400,000 first place in Tech Accelerator Challenge (NTAC) NIH award for mHealth mobile app that uses a photo of the inner eyelid (palpebral conjunctiva) taken with a smartphone. The advanced learning algorithm implements spectral super-resolution spectroscopy and further analyzes microvascular and blood hemoglobin information.

The team is lead by Young L. Kim, associate professor at Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. His team includes: Pallavi Gupta at Shah Family Global Innovation Lab; Gauriji Hood and Ketan Mehta at Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital (SRH), Dharampur, India; and Abhishek Tiwari at Abhitech IT Solutions, Lucknow, India.
